Real Estate & Infrastructure
Work covers the entire property lifecycle: acquisitions, large-scale development projects, spatial planning, permitting, and drafting contractual frameworks. Advisory includes addressing legal issues arising from the fragmented system of land registries, cadastral inconsistencies, and varied tax regimes applicable to real estate transactions.
We assist in structuring concession arrangements, resolving expropriation matters, and developing public-private partnership models. Representation in ownership and contractual disputes forms part of our practice, as well as support in cross-border investment projects.
Energy & Transport
In the energy sector, services extend to advising on development and financing of generation projects, including thermal, hydro, solar, wind, and mini-hydro facilities. Legal work includes licensing, regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, and contractual relations with contractors and suppliers.
Advisory also covers rules on concessions and state aid. Experience includes participation in initiatives such as establishing a Coordinated Auction Office for electricity trading in Southeast Europe, in cooperation with USAID.
In the transport sector, assistance includes preparation of project documentation, negotiation of contractual structures, and compliance with sector-specific regulation.
