Sarajevo Canton adopted the Law on Mitigation of Negative Economic Consequences and Savings in the Sarajevo Canton. Please see below overview of the measures from the Law.
Minimum monthly net salaries for the months April and May 2020 in total or partial amounts shall be co-financed/subsidized for all business activities whose work is prohibited or considerably more difficult due to the orders of the civil protection headquarters issued during coronavirus pandemic.
There is no obligation for payment of the administrative fee for administrative files and actions with administrative bodies and legal entities that have public authorizations in the Sarajevo Canton.
Obligation to pay court fees for the following actions is terminated: registration of a company, inscription of establishment of a company and part of the company in the court register, registration of mergers, registration of change of person authorized to represent the company in the court register, request and decision on deletion of the company from the court register, proposal to open bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings and creditors' claims in bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings.
Obligation for payment of the communal fee for a company name board for companies and entrepreneurs - natural persons who start a business or service activity for the first time is terminated.
Obligation for payment of tourist membership fees to the Cantonal Tourist Office is terminated.
According to the Article 8 of the Law, the termination of payment of the above listed court fees, membership fees and other fees shall have the effect stating the day this law enters info force and 60 days after the termination of emergency caused by coronavirus (COVID-19).
